I have written the interpretation: seize the day, so now I will focus more on the deeper meanings of this poem.
At first, I read the last stanza of the poem because I didn’t really analyze that part a lot, but based on the poem guidance, it states that the last and the first stanza are the most important in a poem. The last stanza highlights the releases. It says:” In its sweet release, the fires of worry and anger will be subdued, and in dreams, you may learn to fly above any blaze and let your secret self-float free above a new world, you must imagine and learn to embrace each and every day.” This sentence states about the worries that people would have in their lives. However, even that, we must learn to fly above the difficulties and also learn to embrace them in your lives. That’s why we are here. Not only enjoying the days that you have spent but also learn to go beyond, trying to solve the problems with it. And when I saw the sentences of the last stanza,  Also, I just realize the word of” float” indicates metaphor in the poem. The secrets normally wouldn’t float in the air, but the author uses this to symbolize the freedom of a whole new world, almost like a heaven in the sky. This points out that the author wants us to ignore the secrets while we were sleeping, let it flow, so our dreams can be sweeter, not holding it down.
Although everyone might meet some unfortunates, the author reminds us that today is a gift. Even the bug irks us, the furred thing repels us, we still need to have a positive mind about the world. Love your work and enjoy your play might be important. When we are writing something, we must inject love and passion about our work. Without love or passion, the writing will be a flower, nobody will keep it and view this as a gift.
Also, the author especially likes the nature because she mentions this so many times. At first, she gives us an image of an atom of light, exposing to the house. Then, the bird starts to sing to us as the spring is coming. Afterward, she gives another image of the bug, the butterfly, and the furred thing. This all came from the magical nature. The flower also being pointed out as a natural, but this time, it’s not in a great way. She describes the flower as the trash that can be trampled and stepped by anyone.

Then, there is a part when the author is describing and telling us to use the native tongue. She says:”Remind yourself to speak in Spanish before you go into the dark. Greet your ancestors in our native tongue.” This sentence points out the importance of speaking in your own language. Reminding people should know the location of where you are from. Appreciated what you have such as the language you are speaking. The language and the culture make who you are and the way you are. The ancestors that you are believing in can take and guide you to your home, to the place that you want to be in. I also realize that the author might be religious because she says pray before you sleep and the words you speak will clear your crowded mind. Also, she thinks that bathing as a ritual of new beginnings. Some religious people believe bathing can help them to create a new and complete beginning for themselves.
