Got ignored by her wife One time he saw the hot air balloon expected to be in there to feel the releasing Took a further action to go there, but eventually dead The Night Women There is a woman working as a prostitute since her husband left the family. She then takes the whole responsibility to take care of her son Blends in really well, Although the author doesn't mean to do that, t hese stories come right after one another in the book. when reading I think that the two stories are related.   Also, the stories strongly show the power in women's hand. It describes the mother's sacrifice and loving toward their children: moved and emotional. Think of my mother Themes for both of them A Wall of Fire Rising: Hopelessness, Death, Escape, and leaving The Night Women: Sacrifice, love Adaptation: The plot for our ad...

Second Draft

-Story A wall of Fire Rising+The Night Women (Combination) What happened after Guy died When we read, the connection is really apparent I like the personality traits of Lili-strong and independent, also, night women's love towards her son: soft and caring. Literary Analysis -Theme: love, hate, and sacrifice -Character: Lili Relationship: Lili and Guy(love and hate) Lili and Little Guy(selfless love) -Conflict: Lili and Guy(whether Little Guy should work or study) Lili and Little Guy(the same as before) Lili vs. herself Adaptation: Love and caring Staging: Our version talks mainly about the sacrifice that Lili gives to her son and her family, and love towards her son. As a result, Lili mostly softens her voice to Little Guy. Whenever he has any problem, she will encourage him to the end. However, I think Lili is not only a strong and independent woman. She also needs love, selfless acts, and caring. As a result, when she sees Guy, she will act nerv...

Oral Presentation

Summary: The original stories are both from the book Krik Krak. We combined A Wall of Fire Rising and The Night Women together as one story. I played the role of Lili in the Wall of Fire Rising, in which we based on the background information from A Wall of Fire Rising: saying that Guy has already died. Then, the Night Women comes right into it since the father left the house, the mother has no other job but to be a prostitute to support the son to study. This will be the background information for our story. Yet, the father then comes back to life as a form of ghost sneaked into the dream of Little Guy and Lili. Afterward, he tries Lili and Little Guy to guide his family through a critical decision in Little Guy's life. Literary Analysis: Themes: Sacrifices: Lili as the main character always sacrifices for her son to study and to become educated. From the beginning of the story, she wants her son to do greater in the future, which is the opposite than what Guy wants him to be. A...

Reflection

Reflect on your group's performance (strengths, weaknesses, etc.) as well as your individual performance. All in all, our group did great. As I saw the video, I think we each express well the personality in the book. The angel, which is played by Yun, performed a different side of the angel. After we read through the script, he understood how to act like an angry angel: the reactions looked really good, as he was accusing Guy. Also, Little Guy, which is played by Joey. He acted well with the look in an innocent boy; he figured out the way a boy looked like and a boy acted like. I, as the combination of the Night Women and Lili, am a really complicated character; she loves her husband Guy; yet, she hates him at the same time, blaming him for leaving the family alone. The contraction in Lili is really hard since she is a kind lady, but at the same time, she is a tough woman as well. Moreover, she loves her son more than everything. After her husband died, she puts everyt...
