For me, I was in Jasmine’s group which her plan was to have a different species between Romeo and Juliet. Juliet is a normal human beings who is in Cheshire school, and Romeo, however, is a zombie. His father has a work near Cheshire, so they move to Cheshire. His mom puts him into the school, and asks him not to hurt anyone in the school because Romeo is a vampire, so he might eat people in the school, and Romeo agrees. He will never get in touch with anyone in the school. The conflict is when Romeo goes to the Homecoming dance, he falls in love with Juliet, and they start to date in the balcony because they love each other. Romeo still keeps his secret in his mind that he never told Juliet about his identity. Eventually, Romeo tells Juliet that he is a zombie a month later. And what is the reaction for Juliet?
I am playing the character of Romeo’s mother, in which I should keep in mind that let my son be silent, and whenever he wants to go out at same point, I should be curious and vigilant in some way because that’s my son, and what if he goes out and eats some people in the street. So in order to prevent that happened after seeing him goes out for finding some people, Me as Romeo’s mother comes out a plan that I should arrange a meeting for my son to see another girl called Rosaline. She is the one who loves Romeo all the time, and the richest vampire in the family. As a result, she obviously thinks that her son will obey what she demands, and they will fall in love with each as the meeting gradually becomes more and more. Maybe, she is finally releases that her son is marrying. However, she is shocked by Romeo’s acting at the end, because he doesn’t seems like he falls in love that girl, and also from that girl,he is already married with a normal human. She is so mad about why her son makes his decision without telling her, and they can never marry a human girl at all. She is also angry about Romeo’s disobedience and childish, she hopes Romeo could hear her advice. At the end, Romeo died, so she is also sad that her son was even earlier than she dies. In order to portray this character better, I will think of my mother, she always tells me not to do this or that in earnest, and I never listen to her, so she gets angrier and angrier each time. Also, she always wants her son to be obedience anything she says, so this emphasizes the power of the mother. Her son, however, is in the age of rebel, so her son instead marry to Juliet that he loves. Her son will always listen to her advise and never goes somewhere without telling her, so she thinks her son changes, and hopes to control her son back. Everything just out of her control, and in a different and wrong way with what she thinks about.
